As well as writing my own blog I really enjoy reading blogs created by fellow IMers. I was looking through some of these blogs the other day and I noticed that a lot of them had the same thing in common- THEY WERE FULL OF CLUTTER!

When I say clutter I mean advertisement’s sticking out at you left, right and center! Mass colours bouncing off each other to the point where I am saying ” where are the posts’??’ Now I would like you to be really honest with me here as I am going to ask you a very direct question- Do you think my blog is too cluttered? Now I may be taking a bit of risk asking this but I would really appreciate the honest truth.

In my opinion I don’t think it is, but of course I am biased:) But the reason I don’t think it is, is  because I try really hard not to go over the top with adverting banners and adsense. Of course I like any IMers has the odd adsense and advertisement here and there, if anything it brightens up the look of the website but I never want to be seen as an Internet Marketer who uses his site to just promote promote promote. I want my readers to enjoy the valuable content and resouces I provide.

You see after reading some blogs (from some Top Internet Marketers might I add), I noticed myself struggling to find the content and the value of the site that I was so desperately looking for. Everything was flashing and saying ”Hello please click me or buy me now”!! I believe the value of a blog is to provide up to date insights and information and I really want to make sure I keep my blog to this standard.  So I would really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you might have regarding this topic.
