Creating my first eBook- part 2 (Programming)
Hello again,
So I put my brain under some extreme pressure yesterday looking for ideas and inspiration for my very first EBook project and I was amazed at the ideas that started coming to me long after I had finished my brainstorming session.
I literally found myself in front of the TV watching the usual awful Sunday night television when ideas for topics for my EBook started coming to me thick and fast and I quickly grabbed a pen and paper to jot the ideas and thoughts down in some sort of tangible order.
You see as I mentioned in Part 2 if you can really put your brain under some sort of constant pressure without bailing before it gets too difficult, it will continue to work and dig deep to pluck out ideas and deliver them when you least expect it. Even as I watched TV and random adverts, the adverts themselves gave me ideas for topics for my new EBook. It was as if my brain was still going on auto-pilot then giving me a gentle nudge and saying ”hey Steve, look carefully at what that advert is saying about Male Pattern Baldness, don’t you think that could be a particularly niche area to write about for your new EBook? I mean there are lots of men out there with this problem, aren’t there?”
You see the thing is when you exercise your brain and surround it with the constant thoughts of what you are doing or what you are trying to achieve, I’m sure it will subtly programme itself to be more responsive to the areas that interest you most. I mean normally I’m sure I would have just by-passed the advert about Male Pattern Baldness as if it were just another advert but luckily enough for me I was given a gentle nudge by the usually not so responsive friend J to take a closer look and I’m sure if you really start to programme your mind and thoughts centrally on what you would like to achieve with your EBook, these thoughts will start prodding and poking you throughout the day provoking new and exciting ideas for your project.
I sincerely hope my ramblings have made sense and you’re still with me here J I just wanted to stress the point that even though I am in my early days of producing my first EBook here, it does not hurt to get the programming right. I mean no one can just go in head first and write their own EBook straight off. There needs to be a planning & thinking stage and although I would love to just be writing right now and getting my EBook together with clever graphics I think this is a crucial stage and I’m sure all these wonderful ideas I have had for EBook topics will serve me well in the future when I go onto to create EBooks in many different niche areas!
Okay well I hope this can be of help to anyone who is at the same stage I’m at or at least offer some encouragement as I’m sure this is the time when most people decide there is just too much work in researching, writing and creating a new EBook from scratch but hang in there, get the research out they way then we can move onto the creation process! J Next thing for me is more research, i’ll let you know how I get on after a spot of Googling J
