Hi Steve
I found I was getting lost in all of the minutiae of the things that had to be done. So I remembered I had read your site and then I had to remember who had actually made that useful list for me. So my task was to search until I found you again. Well it didn't take that long.
My problem is that the only thing I do consistently is to research and write what interests me - the marketing is definitely secondary. But I've come to realise that marketing has to come further up my priority list as success on the net is more marketing, tho the product does need to be good.
Task for this minute is to prioritise my tasks. This isn't analysis paralysis - once I have a priority list somehow it gets done with ease. Thanks for this post.

Hi Harriet,

Great work! I found life so much easier once I took the time to prioritise my work. A simple list at the beggining of each working day works well or the night before when it is fresh in your head.
Good luck and I'm glad you enjoyed the post!

Hi Steve, A really interesting post. I do suffer on the technical side of this business, what is required is persistence!

( I do like your opt in box!)

Regards, Ray.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for your comments! The technie side can be tricky for most. I'm sure at some stage I'll outsource that part of the business but at the moment I really enjoy learning it and beleive it will be an advantage later down the line.

Regards,

Hi Steve,
Great post! And it really hit home. I've been putting off a few things because they are not particularly appealing to me but I think today is the day when I need to face my "fears."
Also, I am curious about which store you set up. I am thinking of setting one up too...there a choices out there and I am not sure which way to go.
Thanks for the inspiration...
I'll be back,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

I putchased a pre loaded ebook store a few months ago but never had the confidence to set it up not knowing much about SQL databases but I decided to face my fears and go for it, so glad I did!

Hi Steve,

Very good post. I believe you are right and we should all stretch ourselves to expand our knowledge and learning. (I do struggle with the techie side though!)

Enjoy the journey.

Mandy

Thank you for your kind comments Mandy.

Once we stretch ourselves and complete a task outside our capability range the rest becomes child's play.
