Hi Steve,

I can't remember a time when "It's all in the List!" wasn't the case. But for a time there were a few marketers that were telling us otherwise to promote some dumb product that wasn't worth a darn.

The list is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing in internet marketing. But it is important to remember that the very next thing is the relationship you build with your subscribers. A large portion of this is providing continued, valuable information through your mailings and almost all of it should be FREE. If your providing good free content on a regular basis you build thier trust. So when you do promote a product, they understand that you are passing along a valuable product, even if they have to spend a bit of cash.

Thanks for this Steve.

Hi Jay,

Spot on! The important thing to remember when someone subscribes to your list is that they are giving you permission to email them and this permission can be taken away very quickly if it is abused in anyway. I always try to offer my subcribers great value and content, if I say something is a free gift then that's what it is, no catches! Thanks for stopping by Jay!

Regards,
Steve.

I still haven't focused on my list building yet. That is where I have been slack. I just checked your link to Ewan's product. It looks like a good one!

I hope all is going well. See you back here soon! :P

Kind regards,

Steve,
