Why Do You Need A Mentor?

Why is acquiring a mentor so essential in the world of business these days? Can’t individuals just take the initiative and learn on their own? Of course they can, but a mentor speeds up the learning curve.

Not only does it speed up learning but it also cuts downs on crucial errors and mistakes. This is an extremely important aspect to think about when you begin on your journey into the world of a home based business. In business, blunders can cost you a lot of cash and time. A mentor can assist and help eliminate a lot of those blunders and save you a lot of cash in the process.

One particular point about being in business is the uncertainty you will face when generating some choices for the very  first time. A mentor can draw on their knowledge and expertise to assist you in making  the correct choices.

Consider marketing for instance. This is such a fundamental component of any organisation, yet most individuals fail to understand how to do it successfully. Far more cash is most certainly wasted in this area than any other by an inexperienced business person. It doesn’t take long before you understand that marketing errors can be extremely costly, even to the point of leading you to cease operations.

Obtaining a mentor does not mean that you have an individual who will operate your company for you. You may as well just employ them as a manager to operate things for you. A mentor is a guide or teacher who is prepared to share their expertise so you can make informed choices and understand how to be in business for yourself. It’s  about studying, then applying what you have learned to build a successful business or company.

Do you require a mentor? If you want to improve your own chances of being prosperous in a home based business then you do require a mentor. Of course it will cost you some money, so do a comprehensive study of the individuals you are taking into consideration to be your mentor.

Find out all you can and speak to other people about their work. Don’t throw your cash away on a fraud! There are many excellent individuals who are willing to help at a reasonable cost. But remember this, in the long run, having a mentor who can show you the ropes and share the experience with you, will save you a lot of time and money.

I got myself a mentor just over 2 years ago now and have never looked back. I  have probably saved myself thousands and thousands of dollars by following his business expertise and as a result I have taken what he taught me and have grown and expanded my business 10 times quicker then I would have without his guidance.

If you are serious about making it in the online business world and are looking for an ethical and affordable mentor that can guide and help you make your online business dream a reality, then I cannot recommend anyone more highly then my mentor John Thornhill. Hey Steve,

I like the look of his course. Did you complete the full 36 weeks and did he offer support throughout the course?

Also will he be able to help me set up a website and sell my own products?

I am seriously interested in joining but just want to clarify some these points before i invest although i think i’ll deffinitely give the trial a go. Can i still claim your bonuses if I go through your link for the trial?

    Thanks Leanne.

    Hi Duncan,

Firstly well done for making the start with your online business, I was in a similar position when I started and had very little technical knowledge. I actually learnt a lot of the basic and more advanced marketing techniques under John’s guidance through his marketing masterlcass course.

Also, you might want to see this short video on how John helped his most successful student and get a little more information on how the masterclass can help you. If you decide to sign up through my bonus page you will receive your bonuses as soon as I comfirm your receipt which is almost instant. If you need any extra help at all though just shoot me an email and I’ll help you in anyway I can.

    Regards,
    Steve.

  5. I totally agree with the above comment, the internet is without a doubt growing into one of the most important mediums of communication across the globe and its due to websites like this that suggestions are spreading so quickly.

  6. Terrific! This is the type of information that should be shared around the internet. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post greater!

  7. Great job on the site, it looks wonderful. I am going to bookmark it and will make sure to check often

  8. Hi Steve

I totally agree with everything you’ve said about having a Mentor.

As you know, I went through John’s course at the same time as you…the biggest thing that I got from the course was having the steps I needed to take laid out before me, in the right order, and all easy to understand.

It’s helped me put my business on track and probably saved me a couple of years off my learning curve.

Take it easy and speak soon
    cheers
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Absolutley, infact I think I can safely say that if we were not fortunate enough to find John’s mentoring programme then we could still be scratching around the Internet now trying to piece everything together manually, which quite honestly can take years. I too am very thankful that I enrolled on John’s course and not only fast tracked my way to online success but also had the opportunity to meet so many cool like-minded online business entrepreneurs such as yourself. Thanks for stopping by mate!

    Regards,
    Steve.

  10. It’s an ok thing to get a mentor, but the problem with mentors is they provide each pupil the same information over and over. If you have your own voice, then it’s ok to get some tips. But I see so many bloggers spewing the same ideas and “reviews” all the time because that’s what they learned from the mentor. When bloggers start out completely on their own, they have a better chance of being more unique than the rest.

    Hi Brandon,

whilst I agree with some aspects of your comment, I do believe it is what a student takes from a mentors teachings and how he/she applies that knowldge. For example John Thornhill has had many of us in his mentoring programme but it seems only the ones with real determination lasted the course and I know many of us who have taken his teachings and applied them in so many different areas of online business and in completely different niches.

Blogging is only a small part of his particular mentoring programme as I personally learnt how to create a brand, a mailing list, several online information products and how to market effectively and drive traffic to my websites as well as HTML, these were just some of the skills I leanrt under his mentoring programme but more importantly it fast tracked my success online by having someone to learn from who has been there and done it all before which helps avoid the costly miskates you can encounter if you decide to go it alone.

    Regards,
    Steve.
